Part 10 of 10

The closing address was given by the Rev. C. A. Conant on "The Country Church."  It proved to be an inspiring picture of the church in the country, its work and its possibilities.  The benediction was pronounced by the Rev. H. C. Cussler.

Recently the church has been renovated and refurnished.  The eight new stained glass windows in the church were given in memory of Elder Henry and Mrs. Catherine Mabee, Elder W. H. Quackenbush, Elder Boyd R. Hudson, Elder Abram and Ann Elizabeth Van Horne, Jeremiah and Caroline Shelp Van Buren, Peter S. and Matilda A. Ostrander and Evaline Van Horne Putman.  The church sewing circle also contributed a window. Mrs. G. A. Raynor sent a beautiful large bouquet of carnations for the anniversary.  Mrs. Mary K. Putman gave the hymn board, and the survivors of the 153d Regiment, N.Y.V., gave a pulpit chair in memory of their chaplain, the Rev. J. H. Enders, a former pastor at Glen.
