Charles P. Cline

Charles P. Cline, aged 94, died Monday morning at 4:30 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. Peter Goody, Tribes Hill, with whom he had been residing.

Mr. Cline was born in Auriesville Sept. 15, 1863, the son of Abram W. and Ella M. Quackenbush Cline.  One June 12, 1895 he was married to the former Martha Walker who died Oct. 10, 1957.

A longtime resident of Fort Hunter, Mr. Cline was a retired employee of the West Shore Division of the New York Central Railroad.  He was a member of the Auriesville Dutch Reformed Church.

Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Elwin Lanfear and Mrs. A. Peter Goody, both of Tribes Hill; two grandsons, Charles Goody of Elnora and James Goody of Tribes Hill; one granddaughter, Mrs. Francis Moore of Mount Vernon, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Todd funeral home, Fultonville, at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Raymond Lumley, pastor of the Tribes Hill Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Auriesville Cemetery. 

The bearers were George Albers, Albert Bobilin, George Currie, Emery Newkirk, Hazlet Quackenbush and Milton Smith.
