Mrs. John N. Van Antwerp.

Private funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Morris funeral home, Fultonville, for Mrs. Evalina Hubbs Van Antwerp who died last Thursday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, where she was taken after becoming suddenly ill on the previous Tuesday.  Rev. Putnam Cady, D. D., of Fonda officiated at the funeral and burial services.

Mrs. Van Antwerp was born in the town of Florida October 28, 1867, a daughter of Dr. Hiram Hubbs and Catherine Schuyler Hubbs.  They resided on the property now owned by the Nadler Dairy Farms just south of Amsterdam.  On her mother's side, she was a descendent of Peter Schuyler and General Philip Schuyler renowned in the war of the American Revolution.  She was married to John N. Van Antwerp of Fultonville... (continued in Part 2)
