Mrs. Jay Irving observed her 93d birthday anniversary September 14 at her home on the Auriesville road  Mrs. Irving resided in this village prior to moving to her present home, about a year ago.

(Editor's Note: Mrs. Jay Irving was born Mary Cebra Shutts on 9/14/1846, daughter of Conrad Jr. and Sarah Eliza (Fritcher) Shutts. She died 10/27/1939, just over a month after this article appeared.  She is buried in the Auriesville Cemetery.)
