* NOTE: All notations in italics under surnames DEAL, GREENMAN and HARE are documented by will of Eliza Ann GREENMAN, widow of John HARE, Widow of Joseph THOMPSON, and historical/census records by Transcriber, Nancy Robinson, g-g granddaughter of Joseph THOMPSON.

This listing was typed up from a photocopy and generously donated by Nancy Robinson, from the copy at the Montgomery Archives. The original reader of the headstones was likely Melvin N. Lethbridge, who walked and made transcriptions of many Montgomery County cemeteries 80 some odd years ago - all spellings and odd & inconsistent punctuation and presentation given are his. As to who wrote the random genealogical notes, or what the numbers by the Brower stones mean, we have no way of knowing. If you feel that your ancestors' names are not as they should be spelled or that he misread something, we have no way of taking the matter up with the long-deceased Mr. Lethbridge - the purpose of his hard work has been served if you recognize your relatives on this list and know that in the 1920s they had at least semi-legible stones marking their burial in this cemetery. Please confirm information on the above list by viewing other historical resources.

We thank you in advance for directing ALL inquiries about this cemetery and persons listed to the historians at the Montgomery County Department of History and Archives, not to the site coordinators.

*** For another listing that will show more burials, check out the Pine Grove Cemetery Lot Owners listings, which are the records held by the Pine Grove Cemetery Association. For information about contacting them - again, please direct all inquiries to the Montgomery Archives.
