SPORE (SPOOR, SPOHR) | SPORE (SPOOR, SPOHR), Henry, born 1753 Mapleton. He married Cornelia COLLIER in 1790 at Caughnawaga. THEIR CHILDREN: SPORE, Rebecca born 30 Apr 1806 "near Palatine Bridge, Montgomery Co., NY", baptised June 8, 1806. Moved to Van Buren (near Baldwinsville) NY in 1821. I'm pretty sure Abram and Lena SPORE were also born in Palatine, as they came after Rebecca and are listed as being born in "Montgomery Co." The following are also children of Henry SPORE and Cornelia COLLIER: - Mary Spoor daughter of Henry Spoor and Carnalaya Colyer christened 1 Jan 1792 Montgomery, Fonda, Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Caughnawaga. - Maria Spoor daughter of Hendrick Spoor and Cornelia Collier christened 29 Nov 1793 Montgomery, Fonda, Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Caughnawaga. - Jacob Spoor son of Heindrick Spoor and Cornelia Colyer 23 July 1795 Montgomery, Fonda, Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Caughnawaga. - Sarah Spoor daughter of Hendrick Spoor and Cornelia Colyer born 2 Jul 1797 Montgomery, Fonda, Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Caughnawaga. - Catrena Spoor daughter of Hendrick Spoor and Cornelia Collyer christened 1799 Montgomery, Fonda, Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Caughnawaga. - Neelte Spoor daughter of Hendrick Spoor and Cornelia Collyer christened 1802 Montgomery, Fonda, Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Caughnawaga. - John Spoor b 2/21/1804 Bp 3/28/1804, son of Henry Spoor and Cornelia Kalier. My guess is the majority of them left in the 1820's for the regions of Baldwinsville, Onondaga County, NY. | Jim Earl |
