Dale Ozag May 2004 Will of Peter S. Deygert (Dygert), 1801 In the name of God Amen. I Peter S. Deygert of the Town of Minden in County of Montgomery and State of New York being of sound mind and perfect Memory and my usual understanding do by these presents make my last Will & Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First, I commit my Soul unto the living God and my Body to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executors, not doubting but through the mighty power of God I shall receive the same again at the general Resurrection, and as to my worldly Estate I give and bequeath in the following manner - Firstly I give and bequeath unto my Son Nicholas Deygert and unto his Heirs and Assigns forever one hundred Acres of Land situate lying and being in the Town of Hector, County of Onondage - part of six hundred Acres of Land (a purchase I made of _____) as by Indenture may more fully and at large appear - Secondly I give and bequeath unto my Son Henry Deygert and to his Heirs and Assigns forever fifty Acres of Land lying and being in the Town ofPallentine County of Montgomery (a purchase I lately made of AndrewNellis) - Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law David Moyer and his Wife Nancy and to their Heirs and Assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of Land lying and being in the Town of Minden County of Montgomery and State of New York in a patten granted to Lindsey bounded on the North by the Lands of the Heirs of George Herkimer deceased, South by the Lands of Nathaniel Walden, West by the Lands of the Widow Allida Herkimer, East by the Lands of Cornelius H. Waldron, containing ninety Acres be the same more or less with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging - and all other real and personal Estate that I may die possessed of (excepting such parts thereof as are above beqeathed) Fourthly I give and bequeath unto my Daughters Mary, Dorothy and Cathrout each twenty Dollars to be paid by my Son in Law David Moyer three Years after my Death, and also order that my Son in Law Moyer pay or cause to be paid unto any person or persons who shall have any lawful Demands against the Premises, and it is also my Will and pleasure that my Executors shall collect in all my outstanding Debts, and the Money arising therefrom to be given unto my Son in Law Savid Moyer as soon as collected - and further I order and declare that my Son in Law David shall maintain my beloved Wife Sarah during her natural Life in such a manner as my Executors shall think proper. And lastly I do nominate and appoint my Son Nicholas Deygart, David Moyer and Joseph Herkimer Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills and Testaments heretofore by me made and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty fifth Day of Fbruary in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & One.
