1830 Will of Silvanus Willobee
Charleston, New YorkContributed by John Sprowl Silvanus Willobee or his family is referenced on the Montgomery County GenWeb site in the articles "Charleston's Pioneers," "Marriages of Elijah and Calvin Herrick" (three of his sons married Quick girls), and also in the 1810 Charleston Census (Willse, Silvinus, my reading of the census photocopy is Willbe, Silvinus). I split the document into two pieces. The first is the will, written in 1830, which contains the most interesting data. The second file is the introduction of the will into Probate in 1842. Silvanus Willobee is my 3rd Great grandfather via his daughter, Abigail Ford. Silvanus was born 8 Apr 1765, and died 6 Jan 1842. He married Permela Tucker, born 25 Oct 1769, and died 13 Jan 1844. I have found Silvanus in the 1810 census, but so far this is all I know other than the Abigail Ford line.
