MARRIAGES AT THE OLD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
BOWMAN'S CORNERS
TOWN OF CANAJOHARIE
1825 - 1833


This marriage record of 26 couples married at the old Presbyterian Church at Bowman's Corners, Town of Canajoharie, Montgomery County, N.Y was found in Volume 337 of the D.A.R. published records. The Bowman's Corners church was originally a DRC church (1802-1809), then changed affiliation to Presbyterian (1809-1836), then reverted back to DRC (1836-1844), and then again became Presbyterian (1844-present, which was 1969). The records were copied by Mrs. Carol H. Warner, Genealogical Chairperson for the Ft. Rensselaer Chapter of the NSDAR, Canajoharie, N.Y., dated Oct. 12, 1969. It was kindly prepared for our site by researcher Judy Anger.

Information about witnesses and parents was not given. All spellings are exactly as on the typescript. D.A.R. Volume #337 containing these records is available to the public for viewing in three locations in the U.S. - the New York City Public Library (genealogical division; 5th Avenue and 42nd Street), the New York State Library in Albany, N.Y., and at the main D.A.R. research library in Washington, D.C.
