THE TOWN OF PALATINE
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, NY
|

Wagner Mineral Spring, Palatine Bridge, New York
The Town of Palatine, namesake of the early German settlers from the Palatinate, was formed in 1788 from a large
part of the Palatine District of old Montgomery County. This township section has the potential to become one of our
largest, but disappointingly is one of our smallest. After almost 8 years of resources being available, as you can see,
very few researchers have donated family data or general information for this town. Although there are other sites on line for you to post your GEDCOMs, we need other types
of content, such as typescripts of your own Bible pages or a single census page;
partial cemetery listings (collected personally or from lists), or newspaper announcements of births, marriages and deaths, of relatives who were born,
lived or died in Palatine, family wills, deeds, letters, etc. The site coordinators look forward to hearing about what you have to share about Palatine.
